Scott Fricke, M.A., RSCC*D, CSCS, NSCA-CPT, Pn2

My name is Scott Fricke. I have been a certified performance professional since 1992. I am fortunate to be the certified and insured owner and director of Akamai Performance, LLC, since 2013. Through my private business, I train professional baseball players. I have an insatiable appetite for both the science and psychology of elite performance and the broader field of sport science. I deliver strength, power, speed, and agility training, in addition to nutritional counseling and mental skill development. I am deeply fascinated by the abilities, limits, and potential of the human body.

Over my 29 years as a certified performance professional, I have been fortunate to personally train MLB All-Stars, Cy Young Award Winners, MVP’s, World Series Champions, NFL Pro-Bowlers, Superbowl Champions, NHL All-Stars, NHL Stanley Cup Champions, NCAA National Champions, members of a Rose Bowl team from the Big 10 Conference, and was a collegiate Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for as many as 20 teams in one calendar year. I have trained police officers, firefighters, and members of the military in CA, CO, and HI. In addition to my professional clients, I currently work with high school athletes from South Orange County.
